Overview
Speechmark is a macOS menu bar app for capturing meetings without a browser extension or recording bot. It records your microphone and meeting audio, transcribes locally on Apple silicon, labels speakers, and creates a recap, decisions, and action items. Click a transcript line to jump to the moment it was said.
Notes are generated on-device by default, with Apple Intelligence, local Ollama models, or your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini key as options. A local connector lets Claude Desktop answer questions from meeting notes and cite the source meeting. Speechmark requires macOS 14.2 or later on an Apple silicon Mac. It can be tried free and is sold as a one-time purchase.
