Overview
Proof Take compares recognized speech in a recording with the script, highlighting possible misread, omitted and extra words for the user to review by listening. It is designed for human recordings, AI voiceovers and text-to-speech audio, with support for English and Chinese scripts. Users can import WAV, MP3 or M4A audio, confirm issues and export a fix list.
The app runs recognition, comparison and review locally on the Mac; scripts, audio, transcripts and issues stay on the device. Users can import a revised take as a new version and compare it with an earlier take. It requires macOS 14.0 or later and an Apple Silicon Mac.
