Overview

Friends tell you what to watch, read and eat in texts. Textlore finds every one of them.

Recs reads your iMessage and WhatsApp history with Apple's on-device model and lists every book, show, film, restaurant, podcast and app someone told you to try, with who said it, when and their exact words. Promises does the same for the things you said you'd do for people, with how many days late each one is.

It also searches years of texts as you type (Option-Space works from any app), keeps its own copy of your photos after Messages clears space, exports any chat to PDF, HTML, Markdown, CSV or plain text, and draws your texting history as yearly rings.

Textlore is read only. It never sends, edits or deletes a message, nothing is uploaded, and there's no account. It needs macOS 26. Recs, Promises and Ask AI need a Mac with Apple Intelligence.

Free for 14 days, then a one-time purchase. One licence covers 2 Macs and every 1.x update.
